Once upon a time, in a small and quiet village nestled amidst lush green hills, there lived a sweet little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was called this because of her favorite red hooded cape that her grandmother had given her.
One day, her mother asked her to take a basket full of delicious treats to her grandmother who lived on the other side of the woods. "Be careful, my dear," said her mother. "Stay on the path and don't talk to any strangers."
With a cheerful nod, Little Red Riding Hood set off into the forest. Along the way, she met a cunning wolf who noticed how innocent and trusting she was.
"Good morning, Little Red Riding Hood! Where are you heading?" asked the wolf with a sly smile.
"I'm going to see my grandmother," replied Little Red Riding Hood innocently. "She lives just beyond those tall trees."
The wolf thought quickly. He knew exactly where the old lady's house was and decided to trick the girl. "Oh, what a lovely idea! The flowers here are so beautiful. Why don't we pick some for your grandmother?"
Little Red Riding Hood loved flowers and happily agreed. While she was distracted gathering blossoms, the wolf hurried ahead to reach the grandmother's house first.
When he arrived, he found the grandmother alone at home. "Open wide, grandmother," he growled as he swallowed her whole!
Soon after, Little Red Riding Hood arrived at the cottage. Peering through the window, she saw the wolf dressed in her grandmother's nightgown.
"What big eyes you have!" she exclaimed.
"The better to see you with," replied the wolf.
"What large ears you have!"
"The better to hear you with," said the wolf.
"And what a huge mouth you have!"
"The better to eat you with!" shouted the wolf lunging towards Little Red Riding Hood.
Just then, a woodsman passing by heard the commotion. Rushing inside, he fought the wolf and saved Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.
From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned never to stray from the path and always be cautious around strangers. And they all lived happily ever after.
The end.
