【小学英语作文：我最喜欢的节日】The Mid-Autumn Festival is my favorite holiday. It is a traditional Chinese festival that comes in September or October every year. On this day, my family and I get together to celebrate.

We usually eat mooncakes, which are sweet and delicious. My mother makes them at home. She uses different kinds of fillings, like red bean, lotus seed, and egg yolk. I love eating them with my family.

In the evening, we go outside to look at the bright full moon. The moon is very beautiful and it looks like a big silver ball in the sky. My father tells me stories about the moon, such as the story of Chang’e and the Moon Palace. I think it's very interesting.

During the festival, there are also lanterns and dragon dances. People wear colorful clothes and dance in the streets. I enjoy watching the performances and feeling the happy atmosphere.

I like the Mid-Autumn Festival because it is a time for family and happiness. I always feel warm and joyful during this special day. I hope I can celebrate it with my family every year.
