【英语作文：My（holiday）】Last summer, I had a wonderful holiday with my family. We went to the seaside for a week. It was my first time to go there, and I was very excited.

We stayed in a small hotel near the beach. Every morning, I woke up early and ran to the beach. The sea was so beautiful, and the sand was soft under my feet. I spent most of my time swimming, building sandcastles, and collecting seashells. My parents enjoyed lying on the beach and reading books.

In the evenings, we walked along the shore and watched the sunset. The sky turned into different colors, like orange, pink, and purple. It was really amazing. Sometimes, we also went to the local market and tried different kinds of food. I loved the fresh seafood and the sweet fruit.

One day, we took a boat ride. It was a little scary at first, but then I got used to it. The sea was calm, and I could see some fish jumping out of the water. That made me feel happy and peaceful.

I learned a lot during this holiday. I realized how important it is to spend time with family and enjoy the simple things in life. I also learned to be more independent and take care of myself.

Although the holiday was short, it was full of fun and memories. I will never forget that special time with my family by the sea.
