【初二英语周记范文通用】This week was a little busy, but I still found time to write down my thoughts in English. As a student in the second year of junior high school, I am learning a lot every day, not only in class but also in my daily life.
Last Monday, our English teacher asked us to write a short essay about our favorite subject. I chose English because I think it's very interesting and useful. Although sometimes I find some grammar rules confusing, I try my best to understand them. I also enjoy listening to English songs and watching English movies. It helps me improve my listening and speaking skills.
In addition, I joined a small English club at school this week. We meet once a week to practice speaking and have discussions on different topics. At first, I felt nervous because I wasn't sure how to express myself well. But with the help of my classmates, I started to feel more confident. I learned that making mistakes is part of the learning process, and it's okay to be wrong as long as you keep trying.
Another thing I did this week was to review my vocabulary. I made a list of new words I learned and tried to use them in sentences. I also used flashcards to memorize them better. I think practicing regularly is important if you want to remember things well.
Overall, this week was both challenging and rewarding. I feel proud of myself for trying hard and improving my English skills. I hope I can continue to work on my language abilities and maybe even join an English competition next term.
I believe that with more practice and patience, I will become better at English. I'm looking forward to the next week and all the new things I can learn.
